It’s kind of poetic that there’s a shadow casting over this crush as this is my final crush and I wish I was saying goodbye under better circumstances. I really wanted to step away and take a break to focus on my health, but in the last few months the negativity I’ve encountered in this community (on IG) has been more of a reason for me to step away. I started out over there so I’ve always had a soft spot for it. And it hasn’t been all bad. I’ve made some really great friends and I’ve been able to use my voice to educate others about Kidney Disease as well as connect other dialysis patients. But there’s always been a dark side over there. Catty group chats sharing screenshots and talking badly about other creators, passive aggresive captions and stories, etc. All of that stuff definitely takes the fun out of this. It’s funny because I usually see people say that YT is wild, but for me I’ve had nothing but a pleasant experience on this platform. All my subscribers are so supportive and kind. There are people who have been supporting me since day 1 that still leave a comment on every crush and it makes me so so happy. So, about the crush…. It’s absolutely massive! The amount of powder and dust was INSANE!!! This crush was made with every single powder I had on hand and my last 2 fresh blocks. It was a labor of love, but definitely worth it.
