How to Polish Rust (Seriously) — Reviving a 1962 VW Samba

Описание: Today I’m tackling the cosmetic resurrection of my family’s 1962 VW Samba Bus — sanding, polishing and bringing life back to decades of weathered paint, rust and patina. The goal isn’t a full respray or restoration, but to preserve the original finish and make it shine again using pro detailing techniques.

This episode focuses on wet sanding and polishing the oxidized panels, chrome and trim, and answering the question no one asked: can you polish rust? (Apparently, yes.)

1962 VW Samba, bought new by my great uncle – Percy. It has earned its patina, and lots of memories are baked into the finish.
