Ipinaliwanag ni Bureau of Customs (BOC) Spokesperson Atty. Jet Maronilla ang binabayaran ng oil companies na excise tax sa lahat ng produktong petrolyo.
Ayon kay Atty. Maronilla, pagdating sa mga pantalan ng inaangkat na supply ng langis saka ia-assess ng Customs ang produkto kung magkano ang babayarang excise tax, at may dagdag pa ito na 12% VAT.
