Join us for the first look at the results of a mixed-methods study that explored chaplains' involvement in community health and population health initiatives. The study, conducted in partnership with Virginia Commonwealth University, utilized surveys and interviews to hear the stories of chaplains and chaplaincy departments who extended spiritual care beyond their traditional responsibilities. The findings will promote critical dialogue between chaplains and administrators; the presenters will discuss the wider implications and considerations for professional spiritual care.
