Political parties urged that elections be held immediately after Chhath festival to maximize voter turnout. They also recommend conducting the polls in as few phases as possible to ensure efficiency. Political parties welcomed the decision to cap the number of voters per polling station at 1,200. EC also urged all parties to nominate polling agents at every booth to ensure transparency.
