This video was filmed with DJI's Pocket 3 and features a flight over the Egyptian Valley of The Kings in Luxor (Ancient Thebes) along the Nile. It was filmed on a beautiful winter morning on January 15, 2026.
Unable to drone in Egypt, I did the next best thing. My friend, Greg and I. rode a hot air baloon. This was part of our Turkey (Istanbul) and Egyptian Nile tour through Viking River Cruises.
The Valley of The Kings is one of the world's most famous archeological sites. It was here where King Tut's intact tomb was discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter.
