Jeff Carpenter, Assistant Professor of Education and Director of the Teaching Fellows Program at Elon University, discusses ways that technology can be used to involve more learners via the backchannel, a virtual conversation concurrent with live spoken remarks.
The session explores a number of back-channeling tools and methods that provide opportunities for more students to voice their perspectives and provide instructors with feedback.
