Well, I haven't skied for a while. The last time for me on skis was in March 2020, just before the pandemic hit the world.
That is why I really enjoyed this skiing day. My first day on skis in 2 years. The Hochjoch skiing area belongs to the Silvretta Montafon ski resort.
The #ski #resort has modern cable car and lift facilities and wonderful authentic skiing huts with amazing and typical Austrian dishes. Yummy!
The #Hochjoch Totale, is the longest valley descent in Vorarlberg with 1,700 metres of difference in altitude. It is a ski run from the top of Hochjoch down to the valley to the town of Schruns. This route also takes you through the longest ski tunnel in the world, I did this on my first day and it was absolutely amazing! If you have the opportunity to do this, then go for it!
50% of the slope kilometres at the resort are located above 2,000 metres. After a day on skis, you know why you are tired!
