Queensland Health Minister Yvette D'Ath says police have told her that there had been a number of unauthorised people travel into Queensland after driving up from Victoria.

A couple has sparked health alerts in Queensland and New South Wales after they left lockdown in Greater Melbourne to drive to the Sunshine Coast, where they tested positive to COVID-19 earlier this week.
No new cases of the virus were recorded in Queensland in the past 24 hours, however results from the couple's contacts are outstanding.
Ms D'Ath said police were looking for people who had entered the state illegally without an exemption or travel declaration.
