YT Decoy Elite First Ride

Описание: In short it is an amazing bike! I've only had a handful of rides on it so far but loving it. Compared to my Intense Carbine, it is unexpectedly nimble and you cant really feel any of the weight in the front wheel. You definitely feel the weight further back, especially in the tight, higher speed turns, but the mullet helps to mask it well!
Obviously the spec is high so top end performance from everything, which is mind blowing for the price!! Super plush rear end, as expected with this suspension linkage, and crazy good traction helped by the Assegai!!
I need more time on the bike, but initial feeling of the e11 rims was surprisingly different. They are noticeably more comfortable than my Carbine wheels. Feels like I am running 5psi lower tyre pressure during the rough stuff, but don't feel any flex in the turns.
Battery life is very impressive. I am 95kg/210lbs and get more than 1800m of elevation gain.

To be honest though, there are some disappointing areas which I would have thought could be easily changed by YT with minimal cost impact. The dropper is only 150mm, which in a size large is tiny!! (I will be swapping that out). Also the frame protection is awful, it started lifting on the first ride around the garden!! The cable grommet/plugs don't actually work, and keep coming out the frame, resulting in the frame paint chipping away at the corners (maybe a spot of glue can help here?!)
