Описание: In this new episode, we dive even deeper into the lives of Bozeman founders William and Rosa Beall and the pivotal roles they played in the town’s earliest days. We explore the second half of William and Rosa's life here in Bozeman and the legacy they left in the Beall Recreation Center and playground. After William's death in 1903, Rosa continued to be an important member of the Bozeman community, active in clubs and in her church. In 1918, she was ready to sell their farmstead, hoping the city would buy the property and create a park for children. The city didn't have the funds, but a group of women came together and made it happen, spearheaded by local philanthropist, Ella Clark Martin. The Beall Recreation Center opened in 1927. Rosa Beall died in 1930. As founders and long-time residents, William and Rosa Beall left an enduring mark on the community, and we are excited to highlight their story and legacy.
