The 'Grease Bucket Mod' is a different way of wiring a tone control using a few more components than the normal wiring. It offers a smoother treble response, increased highs when at full volume and a less muddy low mid heavy tone. It offers a sparkling clean sound and a much more precise treble roll off. Its like putting your guitar tone through a boil wash. These are found on Fenders 'Highway One' range. The Kit can be fitted to any guitar or bass with a tone control.
