I set out to hike the length of the Malvern Hills and spend the night wild camping in my Hilleberg Soulo tent. I completely underestimated this hike — the steep climbs, long ridges, and distance made it a real challenge. To make things even tougher, there was a weather warning for high winds, and the night turned into a wet and windy battle on the hills.
This trip has it all: challenging UK hill walking, dramatic ridge views across Worcestershire and Herefordshire, testing gear in stormy weather, and the rewarding peace of a solo wild camp once the storm passed.
