"A Madman's Dream/Mind Descending" (2024) is the second installment in our "Scapegoat Revisited" EP triptych celebrating the 30th anniversary of our debut album "The Scapegoat's Agony" (1995).

The album title is an allusion to the play "Waiting for Godot" by Irish playwright and novelist Samuel Beckett and points towards the - for the most part - painful and excruciating emotional odyssey of the unnamed antihero.

Synopsis for "Jesus' Tears":
In his delirious state of madness, the unnamed antihero suffers through a Christ-like crucifixion, vowing to avenge himself on those he deems responsible for his suffering.

"Another Song" is track #11 and the third single from our album "The Scapegoat's Agony" (1995) as well as track #4 from our EP "I Won't Listen" (2024). The EP version is slightly shorter than the album version.

Synopsis for "Another Song":
Taking a good harsh look at the absurdities and cruelties of everyday life, the unnamed antihero resorts to sarcasm and cynicism in order to cope with what he regards as the utter meaninglessness of human existence.


"Passion" is track #6 and - along with its mind-mending sibling "Bliss" - the seventh single from our album "The Scapegoat's Agony" (1995) as well as track #1 from our EP "Passion/Bliss" (2025). The single/EP version is shorter than the album version.
