Описание: July 23 is National Day of the Cowboy. This Senate resolution honors the culture, traditions and values of the American cowboy and the way of life that is still alive today.

For today, Howard printed an image from an old electrotype of a halftone. A halftone is a reproduction of a photograph or other image where various gray tones or other colors are produced by variously sized dots. This process is how photography was introduced into publishing starting in the 1880s. Since this is an electrotype, that means it is a copy of the original halftone and the face of the cut is made out of copper.
