Описание: Transform NDT present a new high speed robotic ultrasonic phased array inspection of a demonstrator fan blade. Machined from a high density polymer, with flat bottomed holes located beneath the surface, the blade is representative of the complex curvature seen on metallic and composite fan blades. With high frame rate capture, each blade surface can be inspected at 0.3 mm scan resolution in under 5 minutes. The inspection data can be rendered onto a CAD model of the blade using a positionally accurate mapping technique. This ensures that the defect positions, sizes and depths are faithfully mapped.
