Описание: The Ride Part 3 - Over to Allenheads for a coffee

Wall to wall sunshine calls for a quick run over to Allenheads for a coffee. Starting out from Rookhope, this short run goes past the remains of Rookhope arch and Groverake mine before passing into Northumberland. Mostly gentle curves, with open view points throughout, with a couple of 3rd gear corners - apart from the very tight hairpin as you drop down the valley, which requires heavy brakes and 2nd gear.

Raw sound throughout, riding a Honda CB650R with quick shifter.

The cafe at Allenheads, the Hemmel Cafe, is an excellent stop and plays host to various events including cycling races and also the starting point for the historic Travers Trophy Trial, a gruelling off road observation trial for motorbikes.

This is part 3 in a series of rides throughout the North East, so if you have any favourite roads or destinations, I'm open to suggestions. Best viewed in 2K 1440p as it switches to the improved quality version.
