Описание: This was my first rifle-only major match and I showed up with basically zero rifle preparation.

Somehow, Reno May and I landed on the super squad with several of the best rifle shooters in the world. They represented the supers. We represented the dupers along with Eric Foss from Howitzer and Isaac Lockwood.

At the Bay Area Rifle Championship and IPSC Rifle Qualifier, I worked through unfamiliar stages, long-range targets, a D60 malfunction, questionable fundamentals, and the painful realization that being good with a pistol does not automatically make you good with a rifle.

I also ran stages wearing the PVS-31A night-vision setup being given away for Belt After Dark. Between stages, we picked up advice from world-class shooters, chased the duper-squad lead, and figured out exactly what I need to work on before 2-Gun Nationals.
