What should you do if your car breaks down on the freeway? Well, if you are on your own, you certainly shouldn’t get out of the car and push it forward surrounded by traffic. But that’s what a woman tried to do recently after her car broke down in the fast lane. Needless to say, her efforts were futile. The incident has sparked debate on whether it was the right call, and whether a single person can indeed push a heavy vehicle forward like that.

A woman desperately pushes forward a car, which has broken down on the inside lane of the freeway. She’s trying every way possible.

She uses all her might. She might not be Wonder Woman, but she managed to move it forward a few meters. People were shocked a petite woman such as her would even try.

If you can’t get the vehicle out of the lane, turn on the hazard lights and place a warning triangle at least 100m behind the car. All passengers should exit the car and wait for assistance behind the guardrail or in another safe location.

With so many cars passing by at high speeds, it’s best to not take any risks while on the freeway.
