Описание: Episode [289]: While attending a game amidst a crowd of 90,000 cheering fans, Paul Pfieffer’s attention was drawn to the stands where the UGA Redcoat Marching Band played, led by Dr. Brett Bawcum. After seeing the band, Pfeiffer “quickly became fascinated with exactly what they were doing in the context of the game,” and this fascination resulted in his 2022 exhibition at Paula Cooper Gallery, “Red Green Blue.”

Paul Pfeiffer was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1966 but spent most of his childhood in the Philippines. Pfeiffer relocated to New York in 1990, where he attended Hunter College and the Whitney Independent Study Program. Learn more about the artist at: art21.org/paulpfeiffer
