Staci Tanouye, MD FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist known nationally for her expertise in adolescent gynecology, reproductive and sexual health, and menopause care. With a vibrant voice both in the exam room and across social media platforms, she has become a leading figure in breaking down taboos around women’s health and making complex medical information accessible, inclusive, and empowering.

Dr. Tanouye earned her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Educational Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, followed by her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She completed her OB/GYN residency at the Mayo Clinic, where she received multiple honors, including “Resident Teacher of the Year” three years in a row—a testament to her passion for education and mentorship.

The five-year survival rate for women who catch their cancer early is nearly 100%. Here’s an important statistic. Many women do not perform self-breast exams or see a doctor for regular screenings. Learn Look Locate LLC wants to highlight the work of organizations around the world that are working to promote early detection of breast cancer.
