The Clock Tower Flyover: a 584-meter flyover designed to bypass the heavily congested Clock Tower intersection.

Nsambya Underpass: A 360-meter, four-lane tunnel aimed at smoothing traffic flow between Nsambya and the city center.

Pedestrian Bridges: Three major high-tech bridges—including the star-shaped Shoprite Bridge and the circular Clock Tower Bridge—to keep pedestrians safe from fast-moving vehicles.

Road Expansion: Widening of Queen’s Way, Nsambya Road, and Mukwano Road to accommodate higher traffic volumes.

3. Phase 2 (Lot 2): Current Status (2025–2026)
Construction for Phase 2 was scheduled to begin in June 2025. This phase focuses on the eastern side of the city center:

Kitgum House Flyover: A new flyover at the Kitgum House junction (Jinja Road).

Mukwano Road Expansion: Further widening to connect the Phase 1 flyover system to the upcoming Kampala–Jinja Expressway.
