I hope you will find this helpful if you are not sure if you should buy a gs mini or a full size guitar. Sorry that I didnt have any better mics availabe and so this might not be the most reliable test. Also my playing still sucs since I just started learning. I hope you dont mind :)
I thoughts on gs mini koa: The built quality of course is great and the sound this guitar produces it really loud for it size. However you dont really need a smaller size guitar, I would invest that money in a full sized one. The sound in the gs mini is still weaker than the ibanez. It can produce loud low frequencies but to me it sound really "boomy" and I feel my ears getting tired really fast.
