𝐀𝐣𝐚𝐡𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐨 is the Abbot of Muttodaya Forest Monastery, Germany. Born in Germany, he was ordained in 1988 in the Wat Nong Pa Pong tradition of Ajahn Chah in North-east Thailand. He spent 7 years in various monasteries throughout Thailand practicing and studying with different meditation teachers of the forest tradition. He then spent 13 years at Bodhinyana Monastery in Perth, Australia, during the last 5 years of which he was vice-abbot assisting Ajahn Brahm. Ajahn Cattamalo left Bodhinyana Monastery in 2008 for Germany to assist in the setting up of Muttodaya Forest Monastery.
