London's Parliament Square, in the shadow of the Houses of Parliament contains twelve statues. Four of them were not born in the British Isles. This story weaves together the story and lives of these four men: Abraham Lincoln; Mohandas Gandhi; Jan Smuts; and Nelson Mandela.
This story travels from the cotton mills of Manchester, to Steamboats on the Mississippi.
From the cotton fields of Louisiana to the mines of Johanesburg.
From the Battle of Spioenkop to India via a railway station in Pietermaritzburg.
This is a swashbuckling story about the lives of four extraordinary characters.
