I cut the spoilers (because believe it not there are some!) out of my review of Christopher Nolan's "THE ODYSSEY," which also necessitated leaving out some of the more detailed discussion of what the movie is "actually about" beyond simply being a mostly-straightforward adaptation of it's text ...in particular why it's so amusing that people who got preemptively upset about meaningless political posturing probably would have found PLENTY to be mad about (on behalf of their own rancid ideological commitments) if they'd simply waited to WATCH the actual movie - assuming they actually understood it.
