The hilarious Madeline Kahn as the lovely and sometimes annoying Mrs. Munchnik in the film Mixed Nuts.
If you haven't seen the film before here is the background.
It's Christmas season and there is a supposed killer loose nicknamed "The Seaside Strangler". Mrs Munchnik works at a suicide hot line where there are strict rules concerning NOT giving out the address/location. To make things worse they have been receiving threatening phone calls and suddenly a strange person shows up at the door. The talented Madeline Kahn manages to make Mrs. Munchnik simultaneously funny, serious, sexy, and quite frankly a bit of a bitch but you fall in love with her by the end of the film.
While I admit this is a mediocre film as far as the plot goes, I think it's quite humorous and a great holiday film if you've got some free time on your hands.
