There are a few ways to make a checkered soap design in melt and pour soap. This is just one way. Patience is key when pouring. If you pour to hot,
you can melt part of the design. A soap planer is helpful but not necessary. I like to use a dark contrasting color so that the design stands
out more, but using a gradient of colors also works well.
