San Francisco Airport. Rare bad weather departures from runway 10s! SFO Plane spotting in 4K

First 12 mins of the video is the first evening of runway 28 movements
Last half of the video is bad weather runway 10 departures. The rain was very intense and camera struggled a fair bit

This spot is the closest you can get to ramp and runway action at San Francisco due to the location of the airport. It is good for 28 departures aswell however there was barely any in the times I was there

Due to the airport not being as busy as pre Covid they don’t do as many Parallel approaches for now and can only be performed in good visibility aswell.


I went and filmed at this location for no more than an hour both times 2 days apart during my spare time while on holiday. Will have to come back in the future

The location is Accessible via public transport from the airport. That being the monorail to west field road station and a 10 minute walk to the parking garage that overlooks most of the airport. There is nothing else nearby so be prepared before coming here
