From Chair 8 to Timber Ridge Condos at Mammoth

Описание: How do you get back to Timber Ridge Condos on Snowboard/Ski from the slopes?
Over President’s Day weekend, we stayed at a property called Timber Ridge, nestled between Canyon and Eagle and it is truly Ski-in n out. This was first time us trying to find our way in and I was honestly a bit nervous about how to find it before the trip. You can see we were both going slow and stopped here and there to locate the entry, but overall it turned out to be so easy!!! Wanted to post it so if anyone else feels the same way about finding their in, they can see how easy it is, even for an intermediate boarder like me. From Canyon, take Chair 8, or from Eagle, as soon as you get off Eagle Express, make a right, and you will find Chickadee. Follow along Chickadee and eventually you will find a yellow sign into the property. The signage along the trail is awesome and this trail that runs behind this property is always groomed. Although you do need to traverse through flats, the ride back home is so dreamy!
We really enjoyed our stay at Timber Ridge and especially it was glorious being able to ride down from our place to Eagle before lifts even started running. If you are planning on staying there, make sure you find a place with garage parking because the overflow parking requires a lot of walking up and down the stairs. Also, 4x4 AND having chains is a MUST. Getting in and out of the complex involves steep road driving that can get very icy!
