Stop-Motion Transformation of X-Transbots MX-XXIV Yaguchi. Very nostalgic. Decent, but fiddly. But I already said it’s X-Transbots! I totally forgot a step. If you are following along and think to yourself “Gosh, this torso sure is gappy - I wish there was another 2mm of trim under either side of the torso/windshield bit” then you are in luck. There are totally two little armatures that deliver that blessed tiny little bit more of trim. I have faith that you can figure it out yourselves. Also, I think it’s cool they gave him the “Little Cricket” gun from Men in Black. When you extend (or contract) the armatures that handle the rear of the vehicle, be aware there are little stops at either end of that slider and you have to pull (or push) them fairly firmly at the beginning and end of the slide to get them to lock.

Production Note: No head turn since the neck is a bit stiff and trying to turn it would have discombobulated the whole figure.

Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
