*SHED* Diamond Buses 32135 YJ14 CCF Wright Pulsar 2 VDL SB200 Route 76

Описание: Here is Diamond 32135 operating the 76 from Sutton Coldfield to Tamworth and filmed between Sutton Coldfield and Minworth. Unfortunately, 32135 is a bit of a heap as the engine and gearbox sound rather muted and it's definitely not the fastest thing in the world.

32135 and 32136 are two of the last Wright Pulsars ever built. They signalled the end of a 7 year production run of Wright Pulsars. The Pulsar spanned multiple generations with different styling and newer engine specs. Production ended when VDL chose not to make a Euro-6 version of the VDL SB200 chassis.

The Pulsar was made almost entirely for Arriva with Wrightbus designing it how they wanted it. Whilst Arriva owned most Pulsars outright, a few examples were part of the Arriva rental fleet. These could be distinguished by a different seat moquette like 32135 has. All of these since found more permanent homes elsewhere. Sadly, there is hardly any information on Arriva's rental fleet that they used to have. I believe their rental fleet ran in dealer-stock white but I'm not sure whether 32135 was part of it as there are only photos of it being new to Claribels.
