🍂 Who is Ralishaz, The Unlooked For in Dungeons & Dragons?

Ralishaz is the chaotic god of ill luck, misfortune, accidents, chance, and insanity. He is unpredictable, capricious, and feared by those whose plans hinge on certainty. He delights in thwarting the best-laid schemes and sowing subtle chaos in everyday life. He is Chaotic neutral, but has some chaotic evil tendencies.

🌀 Nature & Influence

Ralishaz’s power lies in twist, coincidence, and the bitter turn of fate.

He neither plans great catastrophes nor cares about grand designs—his interest is in messing with the small things that unravel order.

His holy symbol is composed of three sticks of bone.

⚡ Clergy & Followers

His clergy are secretive and scattered; many are also cursed or marked by mishaps.

Ralishaz is sometimes invoked by risk-takers with grudging respect, or feared outright by merchants, tacticians, or planners.

Clocks run backwards when he sneezes,
Dice roll ones and explode into cheeses.
He gave me a goldfish, told me it’s fate—
It bit off my nose and yelled “You’re late!”

His realm's in Limbo, where logic gets fried,
Where the stars juggle moons and the oceans are dry.
No rules, no plans, just glorious mistake—
We build our shrines on fault lines that quake!

Nothing means anything—flip a coin!
He showed me love, then turned into a loin.
The universe giggled and ate my hat.
Why pray to gods who sit still like that?
