The city of Hanko in Finland is well known as a summer city, with huge beaches and beautiful scenery. If you go out here out of season, in late August, like me, then the streets are pretty much empty and almost no one people are around. Well, I suppose it fits the name of this channel quite well. If you want beaches empty of people this is a good time to visit I suppose, the weather is still warm enough, but don't come on a windy day like this though!
