Two of our all time favorite campsites were in Baja Mexico! Baja is an incredible place for RV or vanlife but definitely takes some planning and research! 📍Oregon Coast
The OR coast is dotted with tons of great pull offs that you can spend the night in for free but they are often very close to the road so not very private but offer great views!

📍Mammoth Lakes, Eastern Sierras, CA
National Forest dispersed camping about 2 miles off of HWY 395. Such a great find to have this place to ourselves and have this incredible mountain view!

📍Bahía Concepción, Baja, Mexico
Truly unbelievable beauty and camping right on the water but you do have to pay here unlike many places in Baja and it could get a little crowded with small sites. About $20USD.

📍Near Wrangell St. Elias National Park, Alaska
Walking distance to downtown McCarthy and the access to the NP. Tons of sites available but not all created equal. $35/night. Beautiful lake, river and glacier views.

📍Playa Jimi, Baja, Mexico
FREE. Short drive to Cabo, Cerritos, and Todos Santos. About a mile off the highway. Tons of space to spread out but be careful because the sand can be soft and you can get stuck. Stunning views but can get crowded.

📍Exit Glacier Road, Seward, Alaska
FREE. One of our all time favorite places we have boondocked. 2 week limit, tons of space to spread out, 10 minutes to downtown and 10 minutes to Kenai Fjords National Park. Be careful driving on the rocks.
