Σε μια κίνηση που αφορά και την Ελλάδα, προχώρησε πριν από λίγη ώρα η Ρωσία και πιο συγκεκριμένα το Τμήμα Ιστορίας και Ντοκιμαντέρ του Ρωσικού Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών, την ημέρα μάλιστα εορτής του υπουργείου, καθώς η σημερινή ημερομηνία, η 10η Φεβρουαρίου, είναι η Ημέρα του Διπλωματικού Σώματος.
Την ημέρα λοιπόν αυτή, που το ρωσικό υπουργείο εξωτερικών αναρτάει συνεχώς ενημερώσεις για τους Διπλωμάτες του και που ο Ρώσος Υπουργός Εξωτερικών Σεργκέι Λαβρόφ κατέθεσε λουλούδια στις αναμνηστικές πλάκες στο κτίριο του ρωσικού Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών και προχώρησε και σε μια μικρή ομιλία, το Τμήμα Ιστορίας και Ντοκιμαντέρ, που αναφέραμε στην αρχή, στο πλαίσιο της σειράς "Ιστορία της Ρωσικής Διπλωματίας" και σε συνεργασία με την JSC "Marka", αποφάσισε να τιμήσει τον Έλληνα και Ρώσο πολιτικό και διπλωμάτη Ιβάν Αντόνοβιτς Καποδίστρια (1776-1831), ξεκινώ ντας την έκδοση κρατικού γραμματοσήμου αφιερωμένου στην 250ή επέτειο από τη γέννηση του.
«Ο Ιβάν Αντόνοβιτς έμεινε στην ιστορία της χώρας μας ως ένας ικανός πολιτικός, με οξύ πνεύμα, εκτεταμένες γνώσεις και εξαιρετικές διπλωματικές δεξιότητες.
Γνώστης των περιπλοκών της ευρωπαϊκής διπλωματίας, υπερασπίστηκε επιδέξια και σθεναρά τα συμφέροντα της Ρωσίας στη διεθνή σκηνή, υποστηρίζοντας την απελευθέρωση της πατρίδας του από την τουρκική κυριαρχία και την αποτροπή της παρέμβασης των δυτικών δυνάμεων στην επίλυση των ρωσοτουρκικών διαφορών.
Ο Καποδίστριας απολάμβανε τη φήμη ενός φωτισμένου ανθρώπου και προστάτη της επιστήμης και των τεχνών.", συνεχίζει η ανακοίνωση του ρωσικού υπουργείου εξωτερικών, ολοκληρώνοντας ότι το τιράζ για το συγκεκριμένο γραμματόσημο θα είναι 42.000 κομμάτια.
