Little Bay Beach is one of Sydney’s hidden gems, a local favourite that remains surprisingly under-the-radar.
It's steep wooden staircase may be the reason this beach avoids the crowds, despite being so close to the city. But for those willing to make the descent, the reward is a peaceful stretch of golden sand and calm, water just south of Malabar.
This small, unpatrolled beach is ideal for swimming and snorkelling, and its sheltered position protects it from large swells, making it a good spot to watch gentle waves roll against the rocks of the quiet bay and seashore.
Little Bay itself is a suburb located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
