Guitar modelers are excellent at providing players with an expansive array of sounds, effects, and amps, but, if I'm really honest with myself, I really only need about 4 tones for most of my gigs: a clean tone, clean lead, drive, and driven lead. The Fractal FM3 hits a sweet spot here with its size and switching layout. We can build the tones of the preset with no compromises at about 65% cpu, and we can use the switches to access those 4 tones with room for a tempo/tuner switch (and a few more things) without the ned to change layouts and views. Try it out!
