JUVIE/IMMATURE EAGLE LANDS ON NEST CANOPY AS SHADOW EATS! JACKIE & SHADOW MATING! ♥ FOBBVCAM 2.18.26

It was a busy day at the nest for Jackie & Shadow with pancakes, sticks, mating, a coot delivery AND a visit from the juvie/immature eagle again! This video begins with Shadow flying into the nest with a partial coot. He goes right to work eating it but gets interrupted by a juvenile/immature eagle flying around the nest tree trying to land! Shadow gives off his alert vocals and he puffs up mantling as we can see from both cams the young eagle flying by. The eagle lands in the nest canopy (someone else liked to do that) and stays up there for three minutes. Shadow is protecting his food and emits vocals as he keeps watch on it. The young eagle flies off on its own - realizing it was not going to make a steal here. Shadow resumes eating the coot and then feaks his beak on the front porch.

Jackie comes to the nest and she finds a nestover piece of food (coot foot/leg) and she eats it. She heads to the front porch and Shadow drops down and joins her and they mate!! They are working on that re-clutch!! Talons crossed for them! Thank you for watching!
