2. Diamox (acetazolamide): A preventive medication for altitude sickness (AMS) that helps with breathing and oxygenation
3. Pain relievers: For headaches, such as acetaminophen, paracetamol, or ibuprofen
4. Stomach pain and acidity relievers: Such as ranitidine or pantoprazole
5. Anti-diarrhea medication: Such as Lomotil
6. Antacids: Such as Pudin-Hara or Gelusil
7. Cough drops: Such as Vicks Cough Drops or Strepsils
8. Minor wound care supplies: Such as antiseptic cream, bandages, gauze pads, and moleskin
9. Antibiotic ointment: For minor wounds

You should also bring plenty of water, as dehydration can be a problem at high altitudes.
In addition to medications, you can take steps to prevent AMS, such as:

10. Acclimatizing for 2–3 days in Leh or the Indus valley before going to higher altitudes
11. Avoiding increasing your sleeping altitude by more than 500 meters per day
Getting enough rest and avoiding excessive daytime sleep
12. Avoiding alcohol, smoking, and sleeping pills
