Rwanda’s Marie Ange Mukagahima is at the heart of the movement to improve Africa's agricultural potential and increase food exports. Seven years ago, she founded Zima, a company that processes crops like avocado and pumpkin, into value-added products. Zima produces extra virgin avocado and pumpkin oils, roasted pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin seed cookies for the export market. However, she faces challenges including poor infrastructure and lack of financial support.
