Nekketsu Oyako [Saturn] by TechnoSoft [HD] [1080p]

Описание: Nekketsu Oyako (熱血親子) or "Hot-Blooded Family" is a beat-'em-up by TechnoSoft. Released as a launch title for the PlayStation in 1994, the game was eventually ported to the Saturn the following year. While Nekketsu Oyako does have the trappings of some of the more in-depth beat-'em-ups that allow you to chain multiple attacks and even juggle enemies, numerous flaws prevent this from being remembered as a truly great title.

Probably the worst among these flaws center around the characters themselves. Rando, the main protagonist, was designed pretty well, but his daughter Rio and family friend Tora have some serious issues. Rio is fast and sports a decent-sized moveset, but most of her attacks deal little damage and the few that do hit harder leave her wide-open to retaliation. She's fine to play with early on, but as you progress closer and closer toward the end of the game, you'll notice the speed advantage quickly evaporates. Without a second player to support her, Rio becomes totally outclassed. As for Tora, no thought went into him. He has very few attacks, and his most damaging one just rips through everything while offering protection from enemies on both sides. I've done a single player run with him doing nothing but spamming this attack over and over and almost cleared the game on a single credit.

As a casual beat-'em-up to play with a friend, Nekketsu Oyako isn't too bad. It's got some great music, interesting level design, and a pretty good sense of humor. Just don't expect to be blown away by the gameplay.
