VW T5 T6 Heater fan not working ? Want to repair for free if possible ? Does it not work at all or work in 4 but not 1,2,3 ? This is the video for you . Here we look at all the reasons the fan is not working and how to solve the problem. It could be the fuse, switch, resistor or the motor its self. In this video it's the fan itself that is the problem and we remove the dash facia to get to the fan. You also need to remove the facia on most models to get to the resistor. Once the fan is removed we dismantle the fan, clean and oil the bearings and reassemble. In this case the cost of repair was zero.Below are links to a new fan and new resistor.
