✿ FAQ (Questions I think some of you might ask) ✿
→ How do you feel about the lack of trackpads on the ROG Ally?
• Maybe a hot take, but I don't really mind it while playing games on the ROG Ally, because all the games I'm playing currently have complete controller support. While navigating Windows, it's a bit tricky to use the joystick on the Ally as a mouse, but the touchscreen is responsive enough that I can use the tip of my finger to click on most things. Right-clicking is a pain, however.

→ Does Windows let you instantly resume games after sleep?
• Not really? But I have put the ROG Ally to sleep while running Genshin and after reconnecting to the server the game still runs as usual.

→ Should I get this or a Steam Deck?
• If you want the simplest way of thinking about it: are most of the games you play unavailable on Steam, or are most of your games on Steam? If the former, consider the ROG Ally if you're fine with the quirks of using Windows on a small touchscreen device with no mouse. If the latter, a Steam Deck might be a better fit, depending on your budget. Also consider if you want a 1080p screen — it's beautiful on the ROG Ally.
