The second spin-off from 'Mary Tyler Moore', 'Phyllis' (1975) transplanted Cloris Leachman and her tv daughter to San Francisco. Her husband died and now Phyllis was working in a photo studio. It was a top ten show but when it started to slip they decided to revamp the premise for season two and change-up the supporting cast (because that always works). Now she was an assistant to a local politician. Numbers did not improve and the series went out as a #40 show. Stan Daniels, one of the show's creators, is credited with the theme song; the music is styled like a production number from a Broadway show.
