This is a little video that I thought I could put together showing the before and after of my reed organ restoration. The first hymn, "Fairest Lord Jesus" is from an audio recording from I made in 2004, recorded at Zion Lutheran Church in Wawbewawa. This is where the organ has been for almost 100 years. The following hymns I recorded at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Petersburg, in May of 2009 "O Master, Let Me Walk with Thee" and "Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us". The organ is normally at my house, but I brought it to the church for an organ concert, which was well received.
The accompanying pictures are from the restoration that I took throughout the process from August 2008 to January 2009.
