Описание: In this video we take the Apex Aerotech 102” Slick 360 out for its maiden flight, powered by a GP-123 twin-cylinder gas engine swinging a Falcon 28x10 prop.

This first flight also serves as the engine break-in process, so if you want to see how a GP-123 behaves during its initial runs and tuning, this video shows it in real time. After the break-in portion, we finish the flight with some fun 3D and aerobatic flying to start exploring the aircraft’s full performance envelope.

Inspired by the full-scale Slick 360, the Apex 102” Slick is designed to deliver an exceptionally wide flight range — from smooth precision aerobatics and IMAC-style sequences to aggressive freestyle XA and low-and-slow 3D. This size class is widely considered the sweet spot for giant-scale freestyle competition, offering big-air presence while remaining predictable and forgiving in flight.

Built with a carbon fiber/Kevlar-laminated structure, large control surfaces, and aerodynamic balance throughout, this platform is engineered for both top-tier performance and pilot confidence.
