Описание:
Lotus 78 competed in the 1977 F1 season where it finished 2nd in the constructors championship after it won 5 races, but it didn’t have a good reliability.
Which would’t be the case at the start of 1978, when Lotus still used the 78 until they unveiled its ancestor Lotus 79. Both cars together won the 1978 World Constructors championship with 86 points, the last championship for Lotus in Formula 1.
