The route:
Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel-Würzburg is a german route featured in the base game of Train Sim World 3. It features the 186 km high-speed line between Kassel in Hesse and Würzburg in northern Bavaria, which features a top speed of 280 km/h and is noteworthy for being part of the first dedicated high-speed line in Germany.

The route features the DB BR 401 ICE 1 and the DB BR 403 ICE 3 on high-speed ICE services, as well as the DB BR 185.2 operating night-time freight services. The route also adds the Kijls two-axle curtain-sided flat car to the game. Owners of the DB BR 101 DLC will also be able to run IC and sleeper services on this route.

Schnellfahstrecke Kassel-Würzburg features 186 kilometres of dedicated high speed railway in the central German states of Hesse and Bavaria with top speeds of 280 km/h. The route is the first high-speed railway in Germany, with construction beginning in 1973, but taking until 1991 to be completed.
