An expert talks us through the recent GCC discontent

On March 5th, three of its members including the UAE decided to withdraw their ambassadors from Qatar -- citing that the country had breached a GCC security agreement and violated principles of unified destiny.

The move was a rare public signal of disagreement among the Arab states.

Qatar's foreign policy, and in particular its support for the Muslim Brotherhood, have come increasingly unpopular in the Gulf.

So what does this mean for the future of the GCC?
